I am honored to participate as a UT Southwestern Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound employee in the On My Own Time art exhibition.
On My Own Time is the only annual art competition that features the artistic talents of business professionals throughout the region. Each summer, area companies hold in-house competitions, featuring employee art that was created outside of working hours. Winners are selected by arts experts who act as jurors. Business Council for the Arts then showcases
the winners from each company in a regional celebration held annually
at NorthPark Mall Center.

The On My Own Time program enables North Texas professionals to share their talents in the literary and visual arts with their co-workers, and allows participating companies to successfully recognize and encourage creativity, stimulate dialogue, and build team spirit and morale.

VISUAL LANGUAGE MAGAZINE
I am pleased to announce that I am featured in the
Visual Language Magazine Vol.3 No.9 - September 2014 Issue.
Article: Carnivale, also known as Carnival or Mardi Gras, is celebrated in Italy
and many places around the world 40 days before Easter,
a final party before Ash Wednesday and the restrictions of Lent.
The Venice Carnival is now world famous-Being a pre-Lent festival means
"farewell to meat" and is celebrated throughout Italy.
It was first held in Venice, it was revived in 1979.
With great success it is now a open air festival where people parade
around Venice and St. Marcos Square and don masks and costumes.
These pastel paintings are just a few of my favorite memories
of costumes of Venice, France-Carnivale 2014.
"Secrets"- Pastel Painting was accepted into the 2014 Pastel Society of America
42nd Annual Exhibition. The jury panel selected 180 finalist from a field of 1,222 submissions.
The exhibit will run from September 2 - September 27, 2014
at the National Arts Club in New York, NY.
"Timeless" - Pastel Painting was accepted into The International Guild Of Realism (IGOR)
Exhibition. The jury panel selected 74 paintings and drawings from 350 submissions.
The exhibit will run November 7 - November 28, 2014
at the Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, SC.

An alfresco fine arts show and sale, Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair takes place lakeside on beautiful Bradley Fair Parkway in Wichita, Kansas. The 2014 event features 100 artists from 21 states, including 24 Kansas artists, nine of whom are from Wichita. Fidelity Bank returns as the presenting sponsor of the 5th annual event. The event is free and open to the public.

The Bosque Classic exhibit this year!

The Juror made her final selection of 65 pieces from 138 submissions.
My Painting, "The Wild Bunch" was juried into the Irving Art Association
Wildlife & Domestic Animal Art exhibition.
The winners of the competition will be announced at the
Reception and Award Ceremony on Sunday, September 14, 2014, 2-4p.
3rd Annual IAA Animal Art Traveling Exhibit at the
West Irving Library, 4444 W. Rochelle, Irving, TX 75062.
Dates are September 27-December 6, 2014.

COTTONWOOD ART FESTIVAL - October 4-5, 2014
Cottonwood Art Festival is a juried show.
Cottonwood Art Festival is a semi-annual event which features works from the nation's top visual artists.
This year approximately 1,400 artists submitted their work for consideration.
For each show, jurors select over 240 artists to exhibit their museum-quality work.
The artists compete in 14 categories: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics,
Digital, Drawings/Pastels, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metalwork,
Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Wood.
Admission is free.
