Arts in the Square 2014
takes place March 29 and 30,( from: 11am-7pm daily)
and will feature over 120 of the
best local and regional artists selling their original creations.
Artists compete in the following categories: Fine Arts/Graphics,
Pottery, Textiles, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Photography, Wood,
and Miscellaneous.
Come out and feast your eyes on incredible art, sit and relax by Simpson Plaza, listen
to local musicians, watch ongoing performing arts, enjoy interactive
art activities, and treat yourself to the food and spirits available at
the variety of award-winning restaurants on site.

20th Annual Deep Ellum Arts Festival
April 4-6, 2014

Admission to the festival is free!
Six blocks of Main Street in the Deep Ellum entertainment district
will be transformed into one enormous street festival - featuring 200
top-notch decorative and visual artists, 100 original bands and
singer/songwriters performing from four different stages, the renowned
Pet Parade, and copious food and drink. Festival attendees can stroll
through displays of cutting-edge decorative arts and admire, commission,
and purchase the works of sculptors, muralists, jewelers, painters,
leather and wood crafters, and other specialized fine artists, some of
whom will be creating pieces on the spot.
